The Houston Dynamo 2 have lost to LA Galaxy II by a score of 4-0.

The Dynamo nearly opened the scoring in the 7th minute when Diego Gonzalez received the ball near the penalty spot but unfortunately his shot hit the post. The Dynamo would continue to shoot and in the 14th minute, Simon Jillson made a key save off a corner. Although not having much in the early instances, the Galaxy took the lead when Gino Vivi found Aaron Bibout and his shot found the back of the net in the 20th minute. Brooklyn Raines would try a long range shot but it was saved for a corner in the 24th minute. Jacob Evans and D. Gonzalez would have their shots but the score remained tied. Four minutes were added for stoppage time and we headed to the break.

To start the Second Half, Tate Lampman would come in for Teenage Hadebe and Charles Auguste would come in for Raines. Xavier Valdez was forced to make a save in the 49th minute. D. Gonzalez forced a save in the 53th but change was needed. Seconds later, LA would get their second. Jonathan Perez would receive the ball and take the space given for him. Striking from outside the box, his powerful shot beat Valdez. Isaiah LeFlore came in for Chase Gasper and Isaiah Reid came in for Thor in the 56th minute. The scoring would not stop as in the 69th minute, Adrian Gonzalez’s ball found Bibout and he got his brace on a powerful shot. The Dynamo made another substitution in the 75th when Yair Gonzalez came on for Diego Gonzalez. Evans would shoot three times and Houston earned two corners but the officials added four minutes. The match was already over but LA picked up their fourth in stoppage time. Lampman's error around the halfway line gave Galaxy II a two versus one, Perez squared it to Julian Placias for the fourth. Shortly after the final whistle was blown.

The Men In Orange will stay home and face STL City 2 on Sunday, September 3.
